Baptiste is 9 years old. He's a nice boy with brown hair and a lovely smile. He gets good grades at school and everyone likes him very much. But Baptiste is hiding a HUGE secret...

Baptiste is a SUPERHERO! His superhero name is MEGA NINJA!

Every evening, after dinner, Baptiste quickly goes up to his room. He locks the door. His parents think he's doing his homework or playing quietly. But no!

Baptiste opens his secret closet. Inside is his ninja costume! An all-black suit with a ninja mask over his face. There are also glow-in-the-dark ninja stars and a belt with lots of gadgets.

Baptiste puts on his costume and becomes... MEGA NINJA! He has ninja superpowers: he can jump very, very high on rooftops, he is as silent as a mouse, he is as fast as lightning, and he can do incredible acrobatics!

But why is Baptiste keeping this secret? Because he's afraid. Afraid his friends will think he's weird. Afraid the bad guys will find out who he is. Afraid his parents will worry too much about him.

So every night, when everyone is asleep, Mega Ninja climbs out of the window and jumps from rooftop to rooftop in the city. He secretly helps people!

He rescues cats stuck in trees with his ninja leaps. He finds children's lost balloons by climbing everywhere. But nobody knows he's Baptiste!

One day at school, something serious happens. During recess, Lucas's favorite ball rolls towards the street. A big car is coming! Lucas runs to grab his ball without looking!

Baptiste sees his friend in danger. He doesn't have time to put on his costume. He doesn't have time to think. He has to save Lucas NOW!

ZOOM! Baptiste makes a super ninja jump and grabs Lucas by the arm. He does an acrobatic roll and they both land safely on the grass. The car drives right past without hitting them!

All the children's mouths opened wide. The teacher too! How did Baptiste do that?

"You're a ninja!" Lucas shouts, overjoyed to be saved. "You're a MEGA NINJA!"

Baptiste turned bright red. His secret was out! He waited for the other children to make fun of him. But no!

"WOW! That's so cool!" all his friends shout.

"You're a real ninja!" said his mistress with a big smile.

"Can you show us some acrobatics?" asks her best friend Léa.

That evening, Baptiste returned home with a light heart. He told his parents everything. Mom and Dad hugged him tightly.

"We are very proud of you, my ninja," said Dad, laughing. "You use your powers to help others. That's what a true hero is!"

Now, Baptiste no longer needs to hide. He can be himself: a nice boy with good grades... who is ALSO Mega Ninja, the superhero!

And the best part? His friends keep his secret and help him on his missions. Lucas becomes his ninja assistant! Because true friends are always there for us.
